G2 join ENCE in the Champions Cup Finals invite list, and will participate at the $300,000 event in Malta.
Following the announcement of ENCE as the first invited team to the Champions Cup Finals in St. Julian's, Malta, it is now the turn of G2, who are the second of three total teams to be invited.
The qualifying teams from Europe have already fought through several group stages and brackets, and the last four standing that have punched their tickets to the LAN finals are Movistar Riders, Spirit, Hard Legion and BIG. Joining them at the offline event will also be one team from a Chinese qualifier yet to be played.

This announcement comes on the same day G2 exited the CS:GO Asia Championships in Shanghai, where they lost their group's elimination match to Evil Geniuses after an opening match blunder against TYLOO. The year is far from over for G2, however, as the Franco-Serbian team will be in contention at the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals and cs_summit 5 as well as at the Champions Cup Finals.
The Champions Cup Finals will run on December 19-22 at the InterContinental in Saint Julian's, Malta, with eight teams fighting for $300,000 in prizes.
